Troubleshooting & FAQ

Answers and fixes for the most common questions.

My domain shows a "not found" or error page

Your target server must serve your app for any incoming hostname. Some managed app platforms only answer to domains you've registered with them, pointing a DomainDock domain at one of those shows their error page instead of your app. Point the domain at a server, cloud instance, or container you control.

My domain is stuck on PROVISIONING or shows FAILED

  • Confirm the Target IP is a public IPv4 address and the Port is correct.
  • Make sure your app is actually running and reachable on that address.
  • Delete the domain and add it again to retry.

I can't add another domain

Each project holds up to 5 domains. Delete one you no longer need, or create a new project, you can have up to 10.

I can't create another project

Accounts are limited to 10 projects. Delete a project you no longer need to free up a slot.

Can I change a domain's address later?

No, an address is fixed once the domain is created. Delete it and create a new one with the address you want.

The health signal says "Down"

DomainDock can reach the routing layer but your target server isn't responding. Check that your app is up and listening on the target IP and port you configured.
