Secure by default

When you enable SSL on a domain, DomainDock serves it over https:// with a valid certificate, the padlock your visitors expect.

How it works

Tick Enable SSL (HTTPS) when adding a domain (it's on by default). As the domain provisions, DomainDock automatically obtains a certificate and begins serving traffic securely. Certificates are renewed automatically before they expire, so there's nothing to maintain.

Good to know

• Enabling SSL adds a few seconds to provisioning while the certificate is issued.
• Once active, visiting the plain http:// address forwards to the secure https:// version.
• If you leave SSL off, the domain is served over http:// only.
